Hummingbird Confections...

I’ve always loved cooking and baking. Eleven years ago, for my daughters 1st birthday I decided to make and decorate her cake. Every year after I continued making them cakes. Over the years I have taken a few Wilton decorating classes. In 2015, we found out that my oldest had several allergies. Cooking and baking my normal cakes for her was not an option without multiple changes. So I understand how that affects families. The fall of 2017, I decided to go to Cook Street School of Culinary Arts in an effort to help me better adapt my recipes to compensate for the more common allergies. I enjoy constantly trying new recipes and in doing that, I am able to spoil my kids teachers with all the creations I make. Over the last couple years I have been asked to make more and more cakes and desserts for family and friends. So I’ve decided to start my own home based bakery. Welcome to Hummingbird Confections, I can’t wait to make you a delicious treat.
